CUSTOMER SUBMITTED ARTWORK OR GRAPHICS

1.      Computer Platforms:  Logo Pros Art Dept. operates in the Macintosh environment.  We can use Windows based Graphic Arts files if they meet the proper requirements listed below.

2.      Media:  All artwork/digital files must be provided on one of the following forms or media:  3.5” diskette (floppy), 100MB-250MB Zip disks or CD-ROM.  They can be formatted in either MAC or IBM.  Zip disks and CD-ROMs are preferred.

3.      Software & Files:  Logo Pros Art Dept. uses Macromedia Freehand and Adobe Illustrator to create, setup, and print all our designs.  We also use Adobe Photoshop for 4-color Process and photographic artwork.  We DO NOT accept Corel Draw files.  If you are working in Corel Draw you must: A.) CONVERT your text to outlines /paths. B.)EXPORT the file as an Adobe Illustrator file (NOT an EPS).  C.) Send us the Illustrator file.  Whatever drawing program you use, please convert your text to outlines / paths whenever possible.  This will eliminate any possible font problems.

4.      WHAT WE CAN USE: 

·       Macromedia Freehand files – version 10 or earlier.  We must have “native” format files.  (NO imbedded EPS or TIFF images please).

·       Adobe Illustrator files – version 10 or earlier.  We must have “native” format files.

·       Adobe Photoshop files – version 7 or earlier.  We must have “native” format files.  Photoshop files will be accepted ONLY for 4–color Process printing.  File resolution must be at least 250 dpi at 100% (actual printed size).

·       Artwork created in a drawing (vector) program that is set up for spot color separations and can be imported into Freehand or Illustrator.

5.      WHAT WE CAN NOT USE: 

·       Word Processor Documents such as:  Microsoft Word, Word Perfect, etc.

·       Most EPS files.  Call first if you are unsure.

·       Page layout program files such as Quark, PageMaker, etc.

·       Presentation programs such as PowerPoint.

·       Corel Draw files (export as Illustrator, see No. 3).

·       Anything you’ve taken directly off the Internet.

·       Digital camera photos

·       Any Photoshop file with a resolution lower than 250 dpi at 100% of printed size

6.      COLOR SETUP:  Unless 4-Color Process printing is specifically requested or deemed necessary based on provided artwork, ALL designs will be printed with spot colors using Logo Pros Standard Color Palette.  Special color requests can be accommodated with our PMS Color Matching System at an additional per color cost.

·       If you are providing an Adobe Illustrator file, please be sure to set up the colors used in your file as spot colors.  Reapplying spot colors to a highly-detailed design that was set up with process colors can be extremely time consuming for us and costly for you.

7.      COLOR COMPS / PROOFS:  If you supply us with a digital file, you MUST include a color proof of the file.  Digital images usually appear slightly different on a computer monitor than when actually printed.  We need to see in advance how you expect your finished job to look.  Please feel free to include PMS numbers to aid us in matching your color choices.  You may choose any color from your Standard Color Palette. Or specify a “special request” PMS color for which there will be an additional charge.

8.      EMAIL:  You may wish to email your art files directly to Logo Pros Art Dept.  If so, you MUST provide your sales representative with a hard copy / color proof of your artwork that can be delivered to the art department.  Then, making sure to include your sales representative’s name, email ALL relevant files to: logoprosart@bellsouth.net

COLOR PROOFING & MATCHING

Logo Pros, Inc. is not liable for color matching or ink density on screen proofs approved by the customers. Screen proofs will predict design layout, text accuracy, image proportion and placement, but not color or density.

Application of UV Coating may effect or change the appearance of the printed colors. Logo Pros, Inc. is not liable for the final color appearance of a UV product/s.

Logo Pros. Inc. is not responsible for different shades of premium color t-shirts.

DIGITIZING

New designs over 8000 stitches = $15.00/M

Standard digitizing New set $95.00  Stock font lettering (left chest) = $35.00  Stock font lettering (Rear) = $45.00 

Design edits Adding stock font to existing design = $12.50  Edits to existing digitized file = $15.00 (min.)

Flat goods 24 piece minimum per order

MISCELLANEOUS

New Art/Orders – All orders requiring NEW artwork will NOT be processed until artwork is received.

Artwork – All designs / digitizing produced by Logo Pros is the sole property of Logo Pros, Inc. and are for in-house use only.  Under NO circumstances are copies of designs / digitizing to be distributed to anyone at anytime.

Screen Printing Pricing

DESIGN SERVICES

·       Production layouts – (Customer provided artwork) $40.00/hr.

·       Creative design / Illustration - $50.00/hr.

·       4-Color Process separations – (Customer provided artwork) $100.00/job

·       Simulated process separations – (for dark garments) $150.00/job

·       Email, file transfer/misc. - $5.00/request

PRODUCTION SERVICES

·       Ink changes within a run - $10.00 per color

·       PMS color matching - $25.00 per color

PRE-PRESS SERVICES

·       Original screens - $15.00/color

·       Re-screen - $10.00/color

Both Embroidery and Screen printing take three weeks minimum production time. 

Mandatory two weeks from date of artwork approval.
